Project Overview
This was my dissertation project at University. I studied Computer Science so I created an app as my project. I created PantryPAL a cooking app with emphasis on making cooking easier and reducing food waste. The user would input all their food in their house through barcode reading and then the app would give recipe suggestions based on the food in their home through API's.
My Role
Since this was my dissertation it was a solo project. My process for the project as was follows. Primary and secondary research into other apps and interviews, designing and prototying in XD, writing the app in Flutter, testing, measuring the projects sucess and of course writing up the project in my disertation.

The Project

If you would like to have an indepth look at this project I have attached my dissertation below. This project taught me a lot about creating a product in the world of tech and steered me to a career in UI/UX Design as that was the portion of the project I enjoyed the most. It is nice to look back at this project as I can see I have come a long way as a designer as the work I produce nowadays far exceeds this project.
